Split Back Cushions, Metal Bed Rails & Saddle Trim

Two Separate Upholstered Back Cushions

The back is divided into two broad rectangular upholstered cushions. Each has a soft outer edge and a perimeter seam. Their split line stays distinct above the mattress, keeping two panels across the full width.

Exposed Stainless Steel Perimeter Rails

The stainless steel rail stays exposed along the side and foot of the bed, with short legs below the corners. Saddle-leather trim wraps the exposed rail. The supplied assembly identifies the rail sections, finish and connections alongside the inner bed structure.

Repeated Saddle-Leather Trim

Brown saddle-leather loops repeat along the exposed rail, alternating with bare metal sections. They form the decorative rail trim. The Russian larch inner frame and selected mattress base provide the supporting structure beneath the upholstered parts.

Whole bed in furnished room with two separated rectangular back cushions and exposed raised metal perimeter rail, short metal legs and repeated brown saddle-leather loops on foot/side rail.

Cotton-Linen or Nappa Leather with Saddle-Leather Accents

Cotton-Linen Upholstery

A cotton-linen blend is one cover selection for the upholstered back. Its textile reference sets the color, texture, composition and care instructions. The light fabric coordinates with the brown rail trim; other room furniture is ordered on its own.

Nappa Leather Upholstery

Nappa leather is another cover selection for this split-back bed. Our order confirmation identifies its leather reference, color and surface finish, together with the padding and seam layout. The split cushions and exposed metal rails remain part of the same configuration.

Leather Trim & Exposed Metal

The saddle-leather trim and stainless steel rails have separate material references from the back upholstery. Metal finish, trim tone, loop pattern and seams are recorded together so the back cushions and rail details form one coordinated package.

1800 × 2000 mm Mattress Basis & Open Rail Interfaces

Selected 1960 × 2270 mm Bed Envelope

The project design uses 1960 mm overall width, 2270 mm depth and 1030 mm back height. These are chosen dimensions. A nominal 1800 × 2000 mm mattress envelope sits inside the outside rail layout; the final support and pocket allow for the actual mattress and fit allowance.

Support Base & Mattress Height

The selected support assembly and mattress thickness determine the finished sleeping level. Keep that level separate from the overall back height and outside rail size. The fabrication package identifies the actual base, center support and connections without treating the decorative loops as structural straps.

Open Sides & Receiving Access

The exposed rails and short legs leave an open appearance beside the bed. Coordinate bedside tables, walking routes and the actual floor contact with the room plan. Headboard and rail packing dimensions determine whether the components can pass through the receiving route and be assembled in the bedroom.

Saddle-Trim Metal-Rail Bed Cost & Supply

Bed Frame & Upholstered Backs

The bed item identifies the split back cushions, inner frame, exposed rails, short legs and saddle-leather trim. The selected overall dimensions travel with that assembly. Mattress, bedding, side tables and room lighting are separate products.

Cover & Saddle-Leather References

The cotton-linen or Nappa leather cover, foam specification and saddle-leather trim define the upholstery package. The order records the actual textile composition or leather reference, surface finish, color and care instructions for the selected materials.

Metal Assembly & Mattress Support

The stainless steel rail sections, connections and selected mattress-support assembly are specified together. Their assembly details establish the base arrangement, center support and connections to the inner frame. Decorative rail loops remain a separate trim item.

Packing, Freight & Installation

Our quotation lists protective packing, transport, unloading and bedroom assembly next to the furniture materials. Actual component sizes and weights govern handling. Record floor protection and final placement with the receiving plan.

Saddle-Trim Upholstered Bed FAQs

Do the leather loops support the mattress?

The saddle-leather loops are decorative rail trim. The inner bed frame and selected mattress base provide support, with the actual base arrangement specified for the mattress.

Can I choose a fabric or leather back?

Yes. A cotton-linen blend and Nappa leather are cover selections for the same split-back bed configuration. The material reference, color, padding and seams are specified with the order.

What size mattress is used for planning?

The selected project basis is a nominal 1800 × 2000 mm mattress within a 1960 × 2270 mm outside bed envelope. The final pocket, fit allowance and support arrangement follow the actual mattress and fabrication drawing.

Is the exposed rail stainless steel?

Yes. The exposed bed rails use stainless steel with saddle-leather trim. The supplied assembly identifies the metal grade, rail section, finish and connections as part of the frame specification.

Does the bed include the mattress and bedside tables?

No. The bed-frame item is separate from the mattress, bedding, bedside tables and lighting. The quotation also identifies the selected mattress-support assembly and any local assembly work.

What information is needed for a bed quote?

Provide quantity, room plan, selected overall size, mattress specification, back upholstery and trim references. Include receiving access and assembly requirements. These details separate the bed materials from packing, transport and site work.
