Blinds & Shades Buying Questions

Which shades suit sliding glass doors?

Side-gliding cellular shades and vertical blinds, which park to the side. Roller shades work if there is headroom.

How do I measure for an inside-mount blind?

Measure the recess width instead of the glass. We allow for frame and brackets.

Do room-darkening shades block all light?

They block most light through the fabric. For near-blackout we add side channels that close the edge gaps.

How do Roman shades differ from roller shades?

Roman shades fold into soft pleats; roller shades roll onto a tube for a slim look.

Can blinds clear door handles?

Yes, with stand-off brackets. Tell us the handle depth.

What should I keep for reordering?

Keep the opening code; we record system, size, control side and fabric against it.
