Outdoor Lighting FAQs

What IP rating does each outdoor light have?

Each has its own, and we match ratings to wall, step, flood and in-ground positions.

Which lights go in the ground?

Our in-ground uplights, which have sealed housings and sleeves.

What about coastal salt air?

That is a corrosion question; the IP rating covers water and dust. For coastal sites, tell us so we can check the housing and finish of the model you choose.

How do I compare floodlight coverage?

By optics, aiming and mounting height instead of wattage; we supply distribution data.

Are sleeves and brackets included?

Yes, the parts listed for each model.

Who handles wiring and drainage?

Your site contractors. We list what each fixture needs.
