Marble Slab Quote Factors

Marble Selection

Calacatta Gold, Carrara and Emperador are priced differently, and the slabs you pick matter.

Composition Yield

Focal veins and bookmatched pairs limit where pieces can be cut, so we price the approved layout.

Edge & Opening Work

Curves, exposed cutouts and built-up returns add fabrication.

Piece Size & Packing

Large panels are crated flat with protection; matched pairs ship together.

Marble Slab Purchasing Questions

How do I choose Calacatta Gold slabs?

Choose the actual slabs you like, since every slab differs, and we cut your pieces from them.

What is a bookmatched marble pair?

Two slabs cut in sequence and opened like a book, so the veins mirror across the seam. We keep their order through cutting and packing.

Can a honed sample show a polished order?

Partly. Polish deepens color and shows veins more; approve the finish you will receive.

Why are returns on their own line?

They have their own sizes, edges and vein direction, and how they meet the main face changes the look.

Is the exposed edge the slab thickness?

Only for a simple edge. Built-up or mitered edges look thicker; we give both.

What do you need for a marble quote?

A piece list with sizes, finish, edges, openings and your layout wishes. Same area, different layouts, different yield.
