Railings & Handrails FAQs

What is needed at an open edge?

A guard with infill. A wall handrail gives grip along a wall only.

Does frameless glass need supports?

Yes, our point fixings carry the glass. We design fixings and anchors together.

How are cable and bar railings laid out?

Each system has its own post spacing and end fittings, and we lay out each one.

What glass thickness do you use?

It depends on panel size, height and your code. We specify it in the design.

What brackets do oak and stainless handrails use?

Each has its own matching brackets, supplied with the rail.

Who handles structural reinforcement?

Your builder, on site. We give fixing positions and details so your engineer can check the support.
