The desk connects closed cabinets and open shelves along the office wall. Drawer units and cabinet sides sit outside the seated opening, keeping the central work area usable. The worktop bears on the selected cabinet and support structure; a long wall-to-wall run includes intermediate support where its material and span require it.
Melamine-faced particleboard forms the cabinet fronts. The boxes can use melamine-faced particleboard or the plywood option in the table, and finished ends, shelf edges and wall fillers complete the joinery. Front color and box core are chosen independently, so a matching exterior never hides a change of material.
We confirm DTC or Blum soft-close hardware with the cabinet layout. Drawer runners, door hinges and shelf supports follow the units that use them. A filing drawer adds the frame and clear internal dimensions for the selected paper format, while stationery drawers and printer pullouts get their own fittings.
Sintered stone provides the selected desk surface above the cabinet run. The fabrication schedule defines its slab, exposed edge, joints and cable openings. Backing and supports are coordinated with that slab specification, especially across the seated opening.
The quartz option changes the desk surface while keeping the cabinet arrangement. It is engineered quartz with a marble-look pattern. Slab pattern, edge finish and seam positions are chosen together, and any cable hole or monitor-arm fixing is resolved in the fabrication detail.
Melamine doors, drawer faces, exposed ends and wall fillers share one finish schedule. Open shelving can match the closed storage or take a contrasting finish, and the material sample sets the color and texture for each panel group, down to the shelf edges beside the desk.

The adopted workstation plan uses a 30 in (762 mm) deep worktop and a clear knee zone of 30 in wide × 19 in deep × 27 in high (about 762 × 483 × 686 mm). Drawers, plinths and support rails stay outside that opening. Finished desk height is set around the seated user, chair and keyboard position, with the worktop build-up included.
The main screen and keyboard occupy the open desk zone directly in front of the user. Upper cupboards and book storage are positioned clear of the selected monitor and its height-adjustment space. Screen size, a second display or a monitor arm can increase the required surface depth and change the location of the nearby shelves.
A printer bay leaves room for the actual machine, paper trays, lid movement and cartridge access, and an enclosed bay follows that model's ventilation requirements. Cable grommets and accessible rear routes serve the equipment clear of the drawer runners, and power supplies stay within reach.
The quotation follows the desk length, side units, drawer banks, shelves and wall closures in the room layout. One large open span uses different support details from a desk divided by cabinets. A second seated position adds its own clear opening and equipment area, with knee space for each user.
Fronts, cabinet boxes and stone worktops appear as separate material items. Quartz and sintered stone have their own slab, edge, joint and cutout costs. Plywood and melamine-faced particleboard boxes can be compared against the same storage schedule, preserving the number of shelves, doors and drawers in each price.
File frames, printer pullouts, keyboard trays and cable fittings add different functions to the cabinet package. Their quantities follow the actual workstations and equipment. Optional task lighting and its drivers are separate from shelf supports and door hardware, so the quote shows which parts of the office are being fitted.
Stone tops and long cabinet panels need their own packing and handling plan, and delivery access can decide whether a desk ships in sections. Freight, unloading, local assembly, wall fixing and slab installation are listed as their own lines; sockets, data outlets and electrical connection stay site work unless expressly included in the order. The cabinet’s 18 mm plywood specification alone is not a desktop-span or load rating.
Yes, with a bay and cable route planned for the actual equipment. The printer still needs its paper-tray travel, lid and cartridge access, and the ventilation required by its manufacturer. Power supplies and plugs remain accessible; a matching door does not turn a ventilated device into a sealed-cabinet appliance.
Cable openings and routing provisions can be included in the joinery schedule. Sockets, data outlets, powered accessories, lighting and their connections are separate specified items and site responsibilities. The quote distinguishes the physical cabinet work from equipment supply and local electrical installation.
