Laying a Parquet-Look Tile Floor
Orientation
The tile can be laid with its long side across or along the room. Running it along the main sightline makes the parquet blocks read most clearly.
Joints
Large-format tiles are usually laid with narrow joints of 2–3 mm and a grout close to the beige tone, so the parquet pattern runs on across tile edges.
Substrate
A 600 × 1200 mm tile needs a flat screed. Installers use leveling clips to keep neighboring edges flush.
