Clear Glass Louver Blades
Clear blades keep the view through the closed window, and when they open, the overlapping blade edges and clips show.
Glass Louver Window
The window is a row of horizontal glass blades held at their ends. The linked blades rotate together to adjust the opening, creating several ventilation slots across the frame.
An aluminum perimeter carries the side galleries and blade clips. The blade length, thickness and end retention have to suit that exact clip system. Overall frame width alone is not the blade span, because the side components occupy part of the opening.
A hand-operated lever links to the blade mechanism. It changes the blade angle and secures the closed position from inside. The control side and operating height are part of the window layout; a high window needs a different access arrangement from a lever at normal reach.
Clear blades keep the view through the closed window, and when they open, the overlapping blade edges and clips show.
A selected tint changes the color and daylight through the blades. It is a glass specification, separate from the frame color.
The coating reference covers the perimeter frame and side galleries, in black, white or another coordinated color. Blade clips, lever finish and screen frame are recorded too, so every small part arrives in the right finish.
| Window arrangement | Custom aluminum jalousie with horizontal linked glass blades rotating together in side clips. |
|---|---|
| Glass appearance | Open view through the closed blades; no selected tint. |
| Frame & blade supports | Coated aluminum perimeter and side galleries; blade clips and end retention matched to the selected glass. |
| Control | Inside hand-operated lever and closed-position lock; control side and height scheduled per opening. |
| Blade dimensions | Glass length, blade width, thickness and end engagement in mm, matched to the actual gallery/clip system. |
| Frame dimensions & clearance | Overall frame width and height and open-blade projection in mm; screen offset and user access also recorded. |
| Optional screen | Separate insect-screen assembly with blade clearance and removable cleaning access; not structural fall protection. |
| Minimum order | Made to your project quantities. Small item counts are accepted when they ship with the rest of your project list; the quotation confirms the quantity for each item. |
| Standards & certificates | Matched to the ordered model: tell us the standards or certificates your market or project requires, and we confirm in writing which documents are available for this configuration before you order. |
Open blades project beyond the frame plane, so inside curtains and outside screens or walkways must stay clear of that movement. The configuration records both the open projection and the closed position.
An insect screen needs its own frame and clearance from the moving blade edges. Its removable arrangement matters for cleaning both faces of the glass. Screens are separate from blade retention and do not provide structural fall protection.
The manual lever belongs where the user can reach and see it. Exposed sites, high-level openings and fall-risk locations require their own system selection. A jalousie layout provides adjustable ventilation.
Frame width, height and the number of bays determine the blade and gallery quantities. A wider opening may use multiple bays instead of longer blades. The complete clip and glass package controls the practical blade layout.
Clear and tinted blades have their own glass references, with thickness, safety treatment, edge finishing and end retention part of the glass supply. A replacement blade has to suit the clips and mechanism as well as the width.
Our quote identifies control side, lever, linkage, closing lock and any screen assembly. A motorized system would be a different operating package with its own controls and service needs; it is not included with the manual lever by default.
Coated frames, glass blade protection and labeled window sets form the delivered package. Wall preparation, anchoring, perimeter sealing and local fitting are separate site items. Freight follows the actual packed sizes and destination. Tell us the rooms and quantities and we will put this on one quote with everything else you are ordering, and show you what fits in a container.
The inside lever rotates linked horizontal blades together. Opening the blades creates ventilation slots across the window. Closing them returns the blades to their overlapping closed position.
Tinted glass reduces glare and adds privacy in daylight. At night, when the room is brighter than outside, choose frosted or reflective blades, or add a blind, for full privacy.
Length, thickness, edge preparation and end retention must all match the clips and gallery, so the opening width is only one part of the fit.
No. The blade clips and retention arrangement hold the glass. The insect screen is a separate assembly that needs clearance from the moving blades and access for cleaning.
That needs a purpose-designed, supported assembly, chosen for the window position and the project's requirements.
The control has to be usable at its installed height, so a high opening gets a suitable access or control arrangement. An electric operator is a different package, added when you choose it.
