Fixed Aluminum Storefront
Two vertical aluminum mullions divide the straight opening into three glazed bays. The selected layout is fixed: it has no sash handles, rollers or opening hinges. The view remains divided by the frame members while the glass stays in place.
The aluminum perimeter meets the head, sill and side walls. Mullions support the individual glazing areas within that opening. The selected frame section, glass pockets, seals and fixing positions belong to one coordinated system.
The glass is retained in its frame with compatible beads, gaskets and seals, and the glazing side sets access for fitting or replacing a pane. Perimeter sealing and sill water management continue through the surrounding building detail beyond the aluminum face.
Clear insulating glass combines two panes and a specified cavity without a selected tint or coating. A Low-E package adds a coating to address the project’s thermal and solar requirements. Glass appearance and whole-assembly thermal performance are different specifications.
A laminated package adds an interlayer within the complete glazing build. The glass thickness, pane arrangement and safety requirements are stated together.
Frame color and sheen apply to the perimeter and mullions, and the finish schedule records exposed internal and external faces and any matching trims. A dark frame outlines the glass bays; a light frame sits quietly against a pale shopfront wall.

Overall opening width is not a pane width: the two mullions and perimeter take part of it. The elevation records frame width and height and each bay in millimeters, so glass and aluminum quantities follow the actual divisions.
Interior or exterior glazing access follows the chosen frame system and site conditions. Display fixtures, ceilings and finished walls must leave room to remove the glass-retaining parts. The pane replacement route matters even though the storefront has no everyday opening sash.
The sill meets the building’s support and weatherproofing detail. Exterior drainage remains open after sealants and floor finishes are fitted. The wall opening, structural fixing and perimeter joint are designed for the actual building; the storefront does not take over the role of a structural wall.
The quote follows the three-bay elevation, including the perimeter and two mullions. Bay proportions affect glass cutting, handling and frame sections. Additional divisions change sightlines and fabrication work as well as the number of pieces.
Pane thickness, insulating cavity, Low-E coating and laminated layers affect material and glass weight, and a thermal-break frame is a system choice of its own. The complete glass build and frame section are priced together.
Color, coating system, exposed faces and matching trims make up the finish. Inside glazing beads and external caps can need different access and finishing, with quantities following the section system and installation detail.
The package supplies the scheduled fixed frame and glass bays, with an entrance door, access-control hardware or opening vent as extra items. Building support, anchors, flashing, perimeter sealing, local installation and destination freight are listed apart. No. The selected assembly has three fixed glass bays. An entrance door or operable window is a separate product with its own frame, hardware and clear-opening requirements.
No. The perimeter and two mullions occupy part of the opening. Each glass bay has its own scheduled size. Those bay dimensions determine the glass cutting and handling layout.
Clear insulating, Low-E insulating and laminated insulating glass are separate choices. The complete glass build includes pane thickness, cavity, coatings and any interlayer. Each package has to suit the selected frame and project requirements.
Yes. The storefront can be supplied in a thermal-break aluminum system with Low-E double glazing for buildings with an energy target. Where you need a thermal and performance report, such as NFRC or AS 2047, we confirm which tested system it covers before you order.
Replacement follows the frame's glazing side and removable retaining parts, so interior fixtures or external access must leave room for the work. The fixed layout is planned with a glass-replacement route.
