ABG Communication Fronts & Separate Connector Mechanisms

Three Named Communication Modules

The ABG range has separate telephone, network and satellite module references. The telephone and network fronts use modular-style openings, while the satellite reference has a round front connector. Their port types remain separate selections within the matching decorative series.

Tempered-Glass Series Front

The ABG series specifies tempered glass for its front, with Gold, Gray and Black finish choices. The connector insert and rear connection mechanism are separate parts of the assembly. Front finish and the required communication connection are recorded as different attributes.

A Port Face & Its Rear Connection

The receptacle is the room-facing connection point. Its selected connector mechanism and rear termination must match the actual cable system. Plate size, mechanism depth, fixing positions and wall-box space are coordinated as one wall assembly.

Telephone, Network & Satellite Module Selection

Three ABG telephone, network and satellite module faces compared by their actual connector openings

Telephone Module

Use the named telephone-module reference at the scheduled telephone connection position. The front opening and rear mechanism are selected for the actual telephone system. Keep that reference distinct from a network port even where the decorative fronts look similar.

Network Module

The named network module provides a separate port selection for the room connection schedule. Its actual connector and transmission specification follow the selected network system.

Satellite Module

The satellite reference has a round front connector, visually different from the modular-style telephone and network openings. The actual connector assembly and cable-system requirements govern the connection. Its room position and quantity remain a separate order line.

Communication Ports, Cable Systems & Wall-Box Fit

Desk, Television & Bedside Positions

Locate communication ports with the actual furniture and equipment layout. A desk, television position and bedside telephone can require different module types and quantities. Access to the plugs and the cable route are considered with the wall location.

Plate, Mechanism & Matching Wall Box

Width W and height H describe the front-plate envelope. Rear depth and fixing positions describe additional interfaces.

Cable-System Specification & Port Schedule

Record the required connection type with each room position and cable-system reference. Connector category, transmission requirements and rear termination belong to that system specification. Telephone, network and satellite modules retain their individual identities throughout the schedule.

ABG Port Modules & Room Connection Costs

Module Type & Quantity

Count telephone, network and satellite modules individually by room and wall position. A repeated room layout can share a decorative finish while using different port types. The connector reference remains with each quantity.

Front Finish & Connector Assembly

The package identifies the series-front finish, connector insert and mechanism actually supplied. Gold, Gray and Black describe finish choices, with the selected communication interface recorded on its own. Additional modules and spares are individual items.

Wall Boxes, Cabling & Site Work

Wall boxes, cable runs, rear terminations and wall preparation are distinct parts of the installation, following the project communication design and the selected module assembly. Site labor is its own line next to the wall module.

Packing & Room Distribution

Packing follows the module types and shipment quantities. Room labels, spare modules, freight and site distribution are each identified. A consistent port schedule helps keep similar-looking front modules matched to their intended positions. Tell us the rooms and quantities and we will put this on one quote with everything else you are ordering, and show you what fits in a container.

ABG Telephone, Network & Satellite Module FAQs

Which communication module types are offered?

The ABG selection contains individually named telephone, network and satellite modules: three different port references within the same decorative series.

How does the satellite face differ from the others?

The satellite reference has a round front connector. The telephone and network references have modular-style openings. The actual connector assembly and cable-system specification remain specific to the selected module.

Does the network front specify a transmission category or speed?

No. The selected network mechanism and cable system determine those requirements. The tempered-glass decorative front and its color are separate from the connector and transmission specification.

Can all three port types use a coordinated finish?

No. The ABG series lists Gold, Gray and Black front finishes. Keep the selected finish with the actual telephone, network or satellite reference and room quantity.

What wall box do the 86-type modules fit?

86 Type modules fit the standard 86 × 86 mm wall boxes used in China and many export markets. We list the plate size and back-box depth in the specification so your electrician can prepare the right boxes.

Are cables and equipment included with the wall modules?

Cables, connected equipment, wall boxes and rear termination components are distinct items. The order identifies any of those components supplied with the module, along with packing, freight and installation.
