Decorative Screens, Partition Frames & Metal Components

Drawing-Led Cutting, Forming & Welding

The fabrication review connects the requested geometry with the parts to cut, form, weld and assemble. We identify bends, intersections, exposed weld areas, end closures and section joints from the project drawings. Details affecting the intended appearance or assembly return to the buyer before the fabrication reference is accepted.

Custom Production Services

Frames, Glass Infill & Supplied Hardware

Partition and decorative assemblies distinguish the metal frame from the specified infill and fittings. Glass type, size, edge treatment, holes and hardware preparation follow the project’s glazing requirements and the selected component information. The quote names the supplied glass and fittings, loose parts and any items provided by the local team.

Material Samples & Mock-Up Approvals

Metal Materials, Finish Samples & Glass Details

Material and finish decisions are attached to the individual metal parts. We coordinate the written requirements and relevant physical references so the buyer can compare the proposed construction and finished result before accepting the order.

Base Metal, Sections & Exposed Faces

Our proposal identifies the base metal, required grade and proposed section or sheet construction. Exposed ends, backs, edges and welded intersections are marked for finishing. Any change in material, section or construction is presented as an alternative with its price and appearance implications.

Color, Sheen & Joint Samples

We coordinate the requested color or physical finish reference, sheen and directional appearance. A finish swatch, section sample or assembled corner addresses different choices: surface appearance, edge treatment or the exposed joint. Sample preparation, approval purpose and delivery are identified with the quoted sample.

Glass Infill & Component Documents

The glass specification names the required construction, dimensions, edge condition, holes and cutouts. We request the selected supplier’s product information and any specified reports for review by the project’s responsible professionals. Metal framing, glass panels, seals, fittings and locally supplied parts remain separate entries in the assembly list.

Metalwork Dimensions, Fixing Inputs & Delivery Interfaces

We connect locally verified dimensions and design requirements to the fabrication details. Finished wall and floor conditions, support locations, adjoining materials and delivery access affect the section sizes, joints and components that enter the order.

Project inputInformation providedFabrication decision
Drawings & SizeCurrent plans, elevations and sections; units, reference points, finished openings and locally verified dimensions.Component dimensions, repeated types, joint positions and details needing a revised drawing before release.
Support & FixingsSubstrate and support information, fixing design and connection requirements from the responsible local designer and installer.Mounting interfaces and supplied brackets, plates, holes or connecting parts to review and price against those requirements.
Infill & EdgesSpecified glass or other infill, adjoining finishes, hardware references and the faces or edges that remain exposed.Infill sizes and preparation, frame clearances, joint appearance and the included component list.
Handling & AccessReceiving point, opening and lift dimensions, handling limits, staging conditions and assembly sequence.Proposed section breaks, assembled or separate delivery, protective packing and location labels.

Drawing Review, Finish Approval & Metal Production Release

The buyer approves the named drawing revision, material specification, finish reference and quantities before production is authorized. Changes to a joint, section, finish or infill return to the affected fabrication and price details before acceptance.

  1. Resolve the Component & Joint Details

We coordinate the component list with the manufacturer’s fabrication review. Part geometry, formed or welded joints, hardware preparation and supplied infill are checked against the requested assembly. We identify open dimensions and local interface details still required.

  2. Approve the Finish & Sample Features

The sample review identifies the surface, edge, corner or joint being approved and the drawing or product it belongs to. Accepted color, sheen, direction and exposed-joint details stay with the order references. Larger prototypes and additional sample work are quoted on their own when requested.

  3. Authorize Fabrication & Assembly Quantities

Buyer authorization connects the accepted drawing revision, material and finish references with each assembly quantity. The handoff identifies included glass, fittings, loose connecting parts, agreed checks and packing groups. Section and package labels retain the installation location or assembly reference.

Structural design, loads, anchorage, safety-glazing selection, code approvals and site installation remain with the responsible qualified project professionals. Any performance-critical product or requested test requires review for the actual assembly before it is included; this fabrication service does not provide structural or glazing certification.

Metal Fabrication Costs, Samples & Packing

Our quote splits fabricated parts, finish work, infill and accessories into their own lines. Material use, geometry, joints, exposed surfaces, quantities and delivery format determine the work being priced.

Materials, Fabrication & Surface Work
Base metal, section or sheet construction, cutting and forming detail, welded joints, surface preparation and the selected finish shape the component price. Glass infill and hardware have their own specifications and quantities. Requested alternatives retain their own construction and price references.
Samples, Tooling & Requested Tests
Finish swatches, section samples, assembled corners and full prototypes are identified by purpose and charged or included as stated. Any proposed tooling, specialist report or testing work is described with its cost and timing for buyer approval before it begins.
Assembly, Protection & Delivery
Unit size, split sections, glass protection, exposed-finish protection and loose-part packing affect handling and freight. Our quote identifies assembly and packing work, the delivery point and any consolidation. Unloading, local lifting, fixing and site installation are each assigned and priced.

Architectural Metal Fabrication Questions

Can you quote a decorative metal screen from a sketch or reference image?

Yes, as an initial fabrication review. We use the appearance reference with the intended location, overall dimensions and quantity to develop the proposed parts and construction. Dimensions, joints, materials and finish details need an accepted drawing reference before custom production.

Can I specify the base metal and an exact finish?

Yes. Include the required material and grade, finish code or physical sample, sheen and exposed faces. We review feasibility and available supply with the manufacturer. Any proposed material or finish alternative is marked as its own choice for buyer approval.

What can a metal sample approve?

A swatch can establish surface color and sheen; a section or corner sample can show edges, weld appearance and joints. The sample request names those features and the ordered component. A full prototype or performance test is a request of its own, with its own terms and cost.

Can glass and fittings be included with the metal frame?

Yes, when they are identified in the accepted supply package. The glass specification and fitting references determine the included panels, preparation and hardware. The project’s responsible professionals review required safety or performance documents for the actual assembly.

Who provides the site dimensions and fixing design?

The appointed local measuring, design and installation parties provide verified dimensions, substrate and support information, and the fixing requirements. We coordinate those inputs with the proposed fabrication details and identify the brackets, holes or connecting parts included in the order.

Will the metalwork arrive assembled or in separate sections?

The delivery format follows the agreed unit size, joint design, glass handling and site access. Our quote identifies assembled pieces, separate sections, loose fittings and any site assembly. Packing labels and the component list retain the matching assembly or location references.
