Glass Surface & Edge Appearance
Transparent panels keep the stair and surrounding space open to view. Color, optical appearance, edge treatment and the actual glass construction are specified together.
Point-fixed glass stair railing
This configuration uses glass panels at the stair edge with exposed round point fixings, free of any conventional post-and-rail frame. Panel sizes and the glass build-up are selected with the stair and supporting structure.
The round fixing heads form distinct attachment points near the lower panel area. Their positions, glass holes, supporting face and anchor design belong to one coordinated fixing package.
A metal handrail follows the stair run and continues through the adjoining railing arrangement. Its profile, joints, supports and end details are separate from the glass specification. The handrail and point-fixing finishes are identified as individual exposed metal components.

Transparent panels keep the stair and surrounding space open to view. Color, optical appearance, edge treatment and the actual glass construction are specified together.
The handrail and fixing heads create the metal lines and points on the glass. Metal grade, surface treatment and finish matching are selected for the order.
This page covers the pictured point-fixed arrangement. A post-supported railing, an aluminum base-channel system or an illuminated handrail is a different component selection.
| Railing configuration | Point-fixed glass stair railing with exposed round fixings and a metal handrail; no standard vertical posts in the selected arrangement |
|---|---|
| Selected component package | Glass panels with exposed round point fixings and a metal handrail; glass build-up, fixing and handrail specification selected for the project |
| Glass specification | Project-selected glass build-up, panel shapes, dimensions, edges, holes, with safety-glass certificates |
| Point-fixing package | Fixing centers, connection components, supporting face and structural attachment specified for the actual stair/landing |
| Metal handrail | Profile, metal specification, finish, joints, supports and end terminations, each scheduled |
| Stair & landing interfaces | Flight geometry, finished levels, panel joints, guard/handrail heights and site tolerances resolved in the project design |
| Supply & installation | Glass, fixings, handrail, packing and delivery itemized; supporting structure, anchors, measurement and installation included only where named |
| Minimum order | Made to your project quantities. Small item counts are accepted when they ship with the rest of your project list; the quotation confirms the quantity for each item. |
| Standards & certificates | Matched to the ordered model: tell us the standards or certificates your market or project requires, and we confirm in writing which documents are available for this configuration before you order. |
The stair geometry sets the panel sequence, the handrail line and transitions at landings. The project drawing records the actual flight angle, landing edges and finished levels. Guard height, gaps and handrail dimensions are resolved for the applicable project requirements.
Panel edges, fixing centers and the supporting face are coordinated before glass fabrication. The order drawing identifies hole locations, edge distances, joints and the selected point-fixing assembly. No generic hole pattern is substituted.
The fixing package depends on the actual stair or landing structure and the finished surface build-up. Structural attachment, installation access and site tolerances are resolved with the project design. The quote separates the railing components from structural work and installation responsibility.
Panel quantity, shape, dimensions and the agreed glass build-up define the glass order. Holes, exposed edges and the sequence of stair and landing panels are listed with the fabrication drawing.
The selected point-fixing package is priced with its required components and attachment arrangement. Supporting construction and site anchors are included only where named.
Handrail length, profile, finish, joints and terminations are separate metalwork items. Our quotation identifies brackets and connections matched to the selected glass arrangement. An LED system or a different support type is a separate request.
Packing protects glass edges, fixing parts and finished metalwork for the actual shipment. Freight, unloading, site measurement, structural preparation and railing installation are itemized with their responsibilities. Tell us the rooms and quantities and we will put this on one quote with everything else you are ordering, and show you what fits in a container.
Exposed round fixings attach the panels at the stair edge, while a metal handrail follows the run. The selected arrangement has no standard vertical posts. The fixing package and its structural attachment are defined with the actual stair and glass panel drawings.
We confirm panel shape, dimensions, holes and edges with the selected glass assembly.
Fixing positions, guard and handrail heights, panel gaps and structural attachment are resolved for the actual stair or landing and its project requirements. The product image is not a drilling or installation template.
The pictured configuration has a metal handrail. Our quotation identifies its profile, length, finish, joints and support parts, together with the glass and point fixings. It also states whether the complete handrail package is included in the supply.
No. A balcony requires its own panel layout, fixing package, supporting-structure design and exposure requirements.
The quote then separates glass, point fixings, handrail, structural/site work, installation and shipment responsibilities.
