Veneer-faced slat construction
A wood veneer provides the selected face on this MDF slat configuration. The veneer reference establishes its wood appearance and grain. Species, grade, face thickness and finish are each recorded for the order.
MDF forms the slats beneath the veneer face. Slat width, depth, spacing and the treatment of exposed ends define the actual linear surface. Those dimensions are selected with the panel size and wall layout for each project.
PET felt forms the backing behind the slats and shows between them. The ordered felt reference, color, thickness and other required material details belong to the panel specification. The felt backing is included for its acoustic role in the room.
The selected veneer sample defines the wood appearance, grain and surface treatment. Grain direction is coordinated across individual slats and adjoining panels. Natural differences remain part of the material selection.
Cut ends, outside corners and perimeter edges expose different parts of the panel construction. Their finish is identified with the veneer face and chosen felt color. Panel joints are laid out so the agreed slat rhythm and edge treatment remain clear at each boundary.

A wall elevation establishes the slat direction, panel divisions and relationship between adjoining faces. Actual slat width and spacing are recorded in the panel schedule. The panel sequence carries that arrangement across the wall without treating one generic illustration as a fixed module.
Switches, outlets, returns and neighboring finishes interrupt the slatted surface. Their locations are coordinated with the felt backing and actual panel depth. Openings, termination pieces and exposed ends are detailed around the selected fixtures and required access.
The wall substrate and actual panel assembly determine the attachment arrangement. Fixing points, any supporting construction and site access belong to that design. Adhesive, screws, battens, an air cavity or insulation are included only where specifically defined for the project.
The quotation records the veneer face, MDF slats and PET felt reference as separate components of one construction. Species and finish, slat dimensions and the actual felt specification are confirmed with the selected appearance.
Finished panel dimensions, slat width and spacing, wall positions and quantities define the material takeoff. Corners, returns, openings and perimeter pieces have separate references.
Exposed slat ends and panel edges are listed with the fabrication work. The agreed attachment components and any required acoustic or fire-performance documentation are matched to the actual assembly.
Packing protects veneer faces, slat ends and felt-backed panels for the shipment. Freight and destination are stated with the actual quantities.
