Stainless Steel Grade & Surface Reference
Our quotation gives the stainless steel grade and finish for each bar. A brushed, polished or coated look is coordinated with the room finishes, with the material grade listed alongside.
Straight bathroom grab-bar arrangement
The package is two straight wall-mounted stainless steel bars, one with a 600 mm mounting-center span and one with 900 mm, each with its own position and fixing reference. The grip is 32 mm round as standard, or 38 mm. The two bars are chosen as a project pair, and accessibility compliance is confirmed for the installed assembly.
The selected circular grip is 32 mm or 38 mm outside diameter, with a 38 mm clear gap from the finished wall to the nearest grip surface. The corresponding grip centerline is 54 mm or 57 mm from the wall. These are selected design dimensions. Stainless steel is the offered material; grade, tube wall thickness and surface reference are recorded with the actual bar specification,.
The bar transfers force through its flanges, fasteners and the supporting wall, so those parts are specified together. Mounting hardware is part of the supply, matched to the wall detail.

Our quotation gives the stainless steel grade and finish for each bar. A brushed, polished or coated look is coordinated with the room finishes, with the material grade listed alongside.
The pair uses 600 mm and 900 mm mounting-center spans. Those dimensions locate the two return/mount axes; they are not overall flange-to-flange lengths or guaranteed usable straight gripping lengths. The accepted bar drawing adds end-return geometry, usable grip length, flange diameter and screw pattern. The selected 32 mm or 38 mm grip retains a 38 mm clear wall gap for either option.
Each mount needs the correct fasteners, backing and sealing for its location, coordinated with the wall and waterproofing detail. Cleaning and any removable cover follow the instructions supplied with the bar.
| Supply configuration | A pair of straight wall-mounted stainless steel bars with 600 mm and 900 mm mounting-center spans; room locations and orientations in the schedule. |
|---|---|
| Package selection | Selected pair of straight stainless steel bars with 600 mm and 900 mm mounting-center spans, 32 mm circular grip diameter and 38 mm clear wall gap. Mounting and structural acceptance remain specific to the room. |
| Bar geometry | Selected circular outside grip: 32 mm default or 38 mm alternate; clear wall-to-grip gap 38 mm; grip-axis offset 54 or 57 mm respectively. Span is mounting-center distance; overall/usable lengths and flange geometry by accepted drawing. |
| Material and finish | Stainless steel; grade, tube wall thickness, surface and finish reference identified for the order. |
| Fixing and wall support | Flange centers, fastener pattern, supplied mounts/anchors, structural backing and wet-area sealing coordinated with the actual wall construction. |
| Product documentation | Where 2010 ADA applies: circular grip and wall gap selected to §609; nonrotation and §609.8 250 lbf (1112 N) assembly force criterion are acceptance requirements. Actual strength documentation required; no tested product rating declared. |
| Room and order schedule | Mounting position and datum, handed room arrangement, per-room bar counts, packing and delivery destination; installation and local acceptance assigned as site work. |
| Minimum order | Quoted per model at your project quantity. Where a factory model has a production minimum, the quotation states it; small quantities can ship with the rest of your project in one container. |
| Standards & certificates | Matched to the ordered model: tell us the standards or certificates your market or project requires, and we confirm in writing which documents are available for this configuration before you order. |
The room layout identifies where support is needed and how the bar relates to the shower entry, seat, toilet and nearby fittings. Length, orientation and height are selected for that use. The package does not impose one mounting height on every bathroom or user; any applicable accessibility layout is resolved for the actual project.
Fixing positions are coordinated with the structural backing before the wall is finished, and in existing walls the substrate and support behind the tile are identified first. Bar, fasteners and fixing method work as one documented assembly.
Where the 2010 ADA Standards apply, the 32 mm or 38 mm round grip falls within the 32–51 mm range and the wall gap is 38 mm. The complete bar, fastener, mounting and supporting-structure assembly must also meet the §609.8 force criterion of 250 lbf (1112 N) without rotating in its fittings, checked at acceptance along with mounting positions, clearances and the installation.
Each bar is quoted by size and count. A repeated room schedule can use the same pair while keeping its own positions and references, and a second bathroom or extra bar is simply added to the quantity.
The metal, tube construction and finish define each bar, and a coated color, alternate grip treatment or different length is confirmed as its own selection. Any special alloy or tested surface treatment is specified by name.
Mounts and fixing components are itemized with the bars, and special wall anchors, backing work and documentation are listed on their own, so the quote shows clearly how each bar is supported.
Finished bars and small mounting parts are protected and labeled by reference for receiving, and freight depends on quantity and destination. Wall opening, backing, waterproofing, drilling, installation and any local acceptance are agreed site work. Tell us the rooms and quantities and we will put this on one quote with everything else you are ordering, and show you what fits in a container.
The selected package contains two separate straight bars, with 600 mm and 900 mm mounting-center spans. Their positions and orientations are scheduled for the room. A one-piece angled or corner bar is a different product and is outside this pair.
The bars are stainless steel. The order records the actual grade and tube construction for the selected product.
The selected pair uses 600 mm and 900 mm mounting-center spans, a 32 mm default or 38 mm alternate circular grip, and 38 mm clear wall gap. The grip centerline is therefore 54 mm or 57 mm from the wall. The accepted drawing additionally records overall length, usable grip length, end returns, flange dimensions and screw pattern.
The fasteners must reach suitable support behind the tile for the bar and its use. Backing, anchors, concealed services and wet-area sealing are worked out with the installation instructions and building detail.
Capacity applies to the complete installed assembly. Where the 2010 ADA Standards apply, §609.8 requires the bar, fastener, mounting device and supporting structure together to meet a 250 lbf (1112 N) force criterion. That is a test criterion for each installed bar; it is different from a 250 lb user-weight rating or the two bars combined.
Yes. The 32 mm or 38 mm round grip and 38 mm wall clearance match ADA dimensions. Fixed to solid blocking at the ADA positions, the bars form part of an accessible bathroom; ask us and we confirm whether a load test report is available.
