Blue Pearl mineral texture
Blue Pearl has a cool blue-gray palette with pale and gray angular mineral areas in a granular background, a natural pattern spread across the whole face. A wide top shows more of it than a narrow splash or edge strip.
A countertop, basin top and wall splash are three fabricated pieces even from one stone, each with its own length, depth and exposed faces. Group them by room and position so the same stone carries through the top and its adjoining vertical surfaces.
Blue Pearl can also be cut into wall panels and floor pieces. Larger panels leave broad uninterrupted areas of grain; smaller formats introduce a more frequent joint grid. The cut format and finish work with the room layout and its installation requirements.
Polishing gives a reflective face that adds images of windows and nearby lights to the mineral pattern, changing the view along a long countertop and around corners. A polished splash or end face carries the same finish onto the adjoining plane.
Honing gives a lower-gloss face with softer reflections on the same Blue Pearl stone. Compare sheen next to nearby cabinet fronts, tile and lighting, since the blue tone shifts with its surroundings.
Specify the top, splash face and exposed ends one by one. A countertop may hide its rear and underside while showing a front edge and end return, and a consistent finish at those junctions matters most.

The piece drawing gives the countertop its own length L and depth D, with a separate height H for the splash. Finished thickness T appears in section. These dimensions describe the ordered pieces.
A long run can contain more than one piece. Joint positions are coordinated with cabinet lines, sink openings and the selected material layout. Place adjoining faces together in the intended sequence so changes in blue-gray tone and mineral distribution can be assessed along the run.
An undermount basin exposes a cutout edge, while other mountings may cover it, so the fixture template, faucet holes and front-edge treatment belong to the actual top design. Cabinet rails, brackets and other supports are coordinated with the stone cutting dimensions.
A kitchen run with a matching splash uses a different piece set from several vanity tops. Allocate the stone to named pieces and retain the room references through cutting. Pattern selection and the required uninterrupted lengths both influence material use.
An exposed end return adds edge work to a straight front, and sink and basin openings add cutting and, where exposed, cut-edge finishing. These are recorded apart from the top area, so quotes for different room sets compare like for like.
Splashes, front edges and exposed ends each have their own finished area, named in the finish schedule for the package.
Top and splash dimensions affect packing and handling, and protective packing, freight, unloading and site installation are each their own item. Basin fittings, cabinets, substrates and setting materials are listed where included in the order. This selection is natural granite. Its blue-gray granular pattern varies through the material. Engineered quartz is a separate product family and should not be substituted under the same material name.
Natural pieces differ in tone and mineral distribution, and finish and room lighting also affect how the stone looks, so we match the actual adjoining top, splash and return faces.
They can share a polished or honed finish when a continuous appearance is wanted. They remain separate faces and pieces, with different dimensions and exposed edges. The surface schedule identifies the work for each one.
