Thermal-Break Folding System
Thermally broken frame
An insulating break separates the inner and outer aluminum, so the frame does not carry outdoor heat or cold straight into the room.
6063-T5 profiles, 1.6 mm wall
Frames and sashes are extruded in 6063-T5 aluminum alloy with a 1.6 mm wall thickness.
Folds in or out
The panels can be made to fold inward or outward, whichever side of the opening has the space for the stacked panels.

Planning a Folding Door Opening
Panel count
The number of panels follows the opening width. More panels give narrower leaves and a thinner stack when the door is open.
Stack space
Folded panels stack at one or both ends. That side needs clear space inside or outside, depending on the folding direction.
Threshold
The threshold photograph shows the bottom track. Its height, seals and drainage are detailed for how exposed the opening is.
