Walnut-Veneered Panels & Four-Corner Steel Frame

An 1100 × 550 mm Top and a Separate Lower Shelf

The selected table has a rectangular 1100 × 550 mm footprint and 400 mm finished overall height. Both the top and lower shelf use 18 mm finished walnut-veneered plywood. The lower shelf is an open, accessible storage level, with no drawer, enclosed cabinet or lifting compartment.

Four Corner Legs and Two Perimeter Rail Levels

A 25 × 25 × 2 mm square steel tube frame has four corner legs and perimeter support rails directly beneath both panels. One central crossrail supports the lower shelf between its front and rear rails. It remains a horizontal shelf support, with no extra center leg reaching the floor.

A 150 mm Shelf-Top Level

The selected lower shelf top is 150 mm above the floor. Its perimeter and corner reliefs are fitted to the accepted finished frame, retaining the required panel bearing on the support rails. Shelf size and relief clearances follow the actual assembly.

Selected 1100 × 550 × 400 mm table with 18 mm top and shelf, 150 mm shelf-top elevation and 25 mm upper rail; nominal front opening 1050 mm wide by 207 mm high

Walnut Grain, Black Steel & Finished Shelf Edges

Selected 18 mm walnut-veneered plywood top and lower shelf paired with 25 × 25 × 2 mm black steel tube frame, two perimeter rail levels and a central lower-shelf crossrail

Walnut Veneer on Both Horizontal Levels

The top and lower shelf share a walnut veneer selection with a selected clear finish. Grain direction, face range, edge treatment and sheen are accepted together. The order records whether the two levels use a deliberately matched appearance or an agreed natural face range.

Black Powder Coat on a Slim Square-Tube Frame

The selected steel frame is finished in black powder coat. Both rail levels, four legs and the lower crossrail carry the same accepted coating reference. Exposed welds, corner finishing and panel attachments form part of the fabrication detail, with steel grade and load capacity confirmed for the order.

Finished Shelf Edges and Floor Pads

The lower shelf exposes its front, back and side edges, including the reliefs around the corner legs. Those edges receive the agreed finish and fit allowance. Pads at the four floor contacts are selected for the floor finish, with the completed table detailed to its 400 mm overall height.

Open Shelf Access, Seating Space & Floor Contact

A 1050 mm Nominal Front Opening between Legs

With the selected 25 mm corner legs at the outside of the 1100 mm frame, the nominal gap between inner leg faces is 1050 mm. Front and back remain open for storage access. Shelf perimeter, corner reliefs and the actual clear storage plan are confirmed on the final assembly drawing.

207 mm below the Upper Front Rail

The 18 mm top underside is 382 mm above the floor. A 25 mm-deep upper rail reaches down to 357 mm, leaving 207 mm above the 150 mm shelf-top level at the front and back openings.

Seating Position, Access and Moving the Table

The room layout uses the full 1100 × 550 mm footprint and actual seating reach. Open-shelf access, door travel and circulation remain available around the table. Finished weight, supported handling points and floor pads are identified for delivery; the lower shelf is not an assumed lifting handle.

Open-Shelf Coffee-Table Price Factors & Supply

Two Veneered Panels and Their Finished Edges

The quotation includes the top and lower shelf as two 18 mm finished panel parts, with accepted walnut veneer and clear finish. Lower-shelf reliefs, exposed edges and any agreed face matching belong to the panel work. A material or size revision receives its own updated schedule.

Four-Leg Frame, Two Rail Levels and Crossrail

The frame line includes four corner legs, both perimeter support levels, one lower-shelf crossrail and the accepted connections. Weld finishing, powder coat and panel attachment are listed with that frame.

Samples, Floor Pads and Assembly Work

The order identifies veneer and coating samples, pads and any included assembly work. Books, trays, seating and decorative accessories are separate room items. A specific object that must fit the shelf is checked against the accepted opening and shelf dimensions before the design is finalized.

Protected Packing, Freight and Placement

Packing protects the walnut faces, panel corners and coated steel. Actual packed dimensions and shipment weight are recorded for the destination freight plan. Unloading and final placement have assigned responsibilities; MOQ and production timing are confirmed for the selected order. Tell us the rooms and quantities and we will put this on one quote with everything else you are ordering, and show you what fits in a container.

Four-Leg Open-Shelf Coffee-Table FAQs

Is the lower shelf open from both long sides?

Yes. The selected frame has four corner legs and perimeter rails, with no front or back enclosure panel. The nominal gap between inner leg faces is 1050 mm. The final shelf perimeter and reliefs follow the actual finished frame and panel-bearing detail.

What is the clear opening above the lower shelf?

The selected shelf top is 150 mm above the floor and the upper rail underside is 357 mm, leaving 207 mm nominal access height beneath the front or back rail. The top underside is 382 mm, giving 232 mm inside; that larger value is not the access throat under the rail.

Are the walnut panels solid wood?

No. The selected top and shelf are finished 18 mm walnut-veneered plywood panels. Natural veneer supplies the wood face over the panel core. Veneer range, grain direction and exposed edges are accepted together.

Why is there a central crossrail beneath the shelf?

It is a horizontal support between the lower front and rear rails, directly beneath the shelf. It is not a fifth leg or a vertical divider. Its connection and panel-bearing detail belong to the accepted frame assembly, with no numeric shelf load inferred.

Does the design have a lift top, drawer or extension?

No. It is a fixed top and an open lower shelf on a four-corner frame. A moving mechanism, enclosed compartment or extension would change the construction and need its own specification.

How are load and delivery requirements confirmed?

The intended objects, load positions and assembly connections are resolved for the actual table. The order also records finished and packed weight, handling points, pads, freight and placement responsibilities for the destination.
