Natural satin clear finish
The default selection is a natural satin clear finish that keeps the pale maple face on show. The accepted sample records sheen, color range and the treatment of edges and ends with the chosen coating system.
Natural Solid Maple Narrow-Strip Flooring
The selected flooring is solid maple through its full 19 mm thickness, so the light cream-to-honey face and fine grain continue into the wood body with no veneer over a plywood or fiberboard core.
The selected strips are 57 mm wide with lengths from 400 to 1200 mm. Parallel rows create a narrow-board rhythm, and the length mix staggers the end joints across the floor.
The selected board design uses tongue-and-groove edges. The production sample defines the mating profile, face width and end detail; the same profile reference stays with all finish groups and replacement stock.

The default selection is a natural satin clear finish that keeps the pale maple face on show. The accepted sample records sheen, color range and the treatment of edges and ends with the chosen coating system.
The matte option retains the same solid maple strip dimensions with a lower-sheen clear surface. Compare it alongside the satin sample under the room lighting, keeping the wood-color range consistent between the two choices.
The unfinished option supplies the selected maple strips without a factory clear finish. Site sanding, finishing products and their application then become site work, coordinated with the accepted board construction and installation method.
| Selected wood construction | Solid maple through the full board thickness |
|---|---|
| Selected finish | Natural satin clear finish · 57 W × 19 T mm solid maple |
| Selected strip width | 57 mm |
| Selected thickness | 19 mm |
| Selected length range | 400–1200 mm; length distribution recorded with the order |
| Selected edge design | Tongue-and-groove; mating profile and end detail by accepted production sample |
| Selected floor layout | Parallel narrow strips with staggered end joints |
| Selected application | Dry interior flooring; substrate, fixing method and movement detail coordinated with the installer |

Show the run direction at doorways, transitions and changes in room width. A 400–1200 mm length mix needs a cutting and staggering layout; it should not be counted as equal numbers of fixed 1200 mm boards.
The selected use is a dry interior floor. Record site moisture conditions, subfloor construction and the chosen fixing or adhesive system with the flooring detail, including perimeter movement space and transitions.
Agree the allowed light-to-honey variation, mineral marks, knots and any repairs with a multi-board sample, then keep that grading direction with the order and spare strips.
Quote the net floor area and the cutting allowance as two figures for 57 × 19 mm solid maple strips. The selected 400–1200 mm length range and required length distribution stay attached to the material quantity.
Identify natural satin, natural matte or unfinished boards, along with the accepted color/grain range. Keep finish batches and room references distinguishable in the packing schedule.
Adhesives, nails or other fixings, moisture-control layers, skirting, thresholds, finishing products and installation are separate items unless individually listed. Their selection follows the actual substrate and floor detail.
Record the pack contents, lengths, finish reference and destination. List spare strips and the cutting allowance as two quantities, and identify any required wood, coating or floor-performance documents for the final supplied construction.
The selected board is solid maple through its 19 mm thickness. It has no plywood or fiberboard core. A veneer-faced engineered floor is a different construction.
The selected width is 57 mm and the thickness is 19 mm. Lengths are selected from 400 to 1200 mm as a mixed range, with the actual mix and pack contents recorded on the order.
Both retain the same selected solid maple strips and natural color direction. They use different clear-finish sheen references, agreed on accepted samples; coating performance follows the actual chosen finish system.
Unfinished boards are one of the three selected options. Site sanding, coating materials and finishing labor are separate from the board supply and need their own agreed system and responsibilities.
Natural wood varies between boards. Agree the allowed cream-to-honey range, mineral marks, knots and repairs with a multi-board sample so the floor selection covers a usable range instead of one isolated light strip.
Include net area, cutting allowance, 57 × 19 mm strip specification, length mix, finish and multi-board grading reference. Add the room plan, substrate and fixing requirements, separate trims, spare quantity and destination.
