280 × 70 × 18 mm main block
The main selected block is 280 mm long × 70 mm wide × 18 mm thick. Four widths equal one length, keeping the square group aligned without changing block widths inside the pattern.
Solid Walnut Basketweave Parquet Blocks
The selected parquet uses walnut through the full 18 mm block thickness. The medium-brown face has natural grain and restrained lighter variation, with no veneer over plywood or fiberboard.
Four parallel rectangles create a square, with the neighboring group rotated 90 degrees. The default 280 × 70 mm blocks form 280 mm squares; the change in grain direction creates the basketweave without diagonal or mitered ends.
The selected supply is individual square-edged blocks for a coordinated glue-down assembly. The square grouping is created on site as the laying pattern, with each block loose and free of any mesh, plywood carrier or locking backing.

The main selected block is 280 mm long × 70 mm wide × 18 mm thick. Four widths equal one length, keeping the square group aligned without changing block widths inside the pattern.
The 240 × 60 × 18 mm alternative forms a 240 mm square group; the 320 × 80 × 18 mm alternative forms a 320 mm group. Each retains the same four-to-one rectangle and 90-degree basketweave arrangement.
The selected finish is a natural matte clear coating on walnut.
| Selected material | Solid walnut through the full 18 mm block thickness |
|---|---|
| Selected block format | 280 L × 70 W × 18 T mm · 280 mm four-block square |
| Selected finish | Natural matte clear finish; accepted multi-block wood-color range |
| Selected pattern | Four parallel blocks per square; adjacent square rotated 90° |
| Selected supply form | Individual loose blocks; no factory carrier or mounted panel |
| Selected edge design | Square-edged glue-down blocks; final joint and adhesive assembly detailed on the floor drawing |
| Alternative block formats | 240 × 60 × 18 mm or 320 × 80 × 18 mm |
| Selected application | Dry interior wood floor; substrate, moisture control and movement detail by the project floor system |
| Standards & certificates | Matched to the ordered model: tell us the standards or certificates your market or project requires, and we confirm in writing which documents are available for this configuration before you order. |
Locate the basketweave datum, perimeter cuts and transitions on the floor plan. A border or doorway may interrupt a square group, so the block cutting allowance should follow the actual room layout.
The selected application is a dry interior glue-down wood floor. Subfloor preparation, moisture control, adhesive, movement allowances and any underfloor-heating requirements belong to the accepted installation assembly.
The main block covers a nominal 0.0196 m² before cutting. Sixteen main blocks form a 560 × 560 mm two-by-two group layout, covering 0.3136 m²; these geometric areas do not include cutting waste or spare stock.
Quote one selected block size with the net parquet area, cutting allowance and spare quantity each stated. Keep loose-block counts distinct from the square groups used on the pattern drawing.
Attach the accepted walnut color/grain range and matte-finish reference to the order. Any perimeter border or separate straight-plank feature needs its own material and dimensional reference.
Adhesive, moisture-control layers, subfloor leveling, borders, thresholds and installation are included only when listed, and their requirements follow the substrate and selected floor system.
Record individual block dimensions, pack counts and finish references. Include destination and delivery stages, and retain spare loose blocks from the accepted appearance range for later localized replacement.
The selected blocks are walnut through their full 18 mm thickness. They are not walnut-veneer engineered boards or printed walnut-look laminate.
Four parallel rectangular blocks form a square. The adjacent square rotates 90 degrees, alternating the grain direction. The selected blocks have square ends; no chevron end cuts are used.
The main size is 280 × 70 × 18 mm. The alternatives are 240 × 60 × 18 mm and 320 × 80 × 18 mm. Every length equals four widths, so the square grouping remains consistent.
The selected supply is loose individual blocks. The square groups describe the laying arrangement, with no factory carrier, mesh or locking backing included.
A 280 × 70 mm block covers a nominal 0.0196 m². Sixteen form a 560 × 560 mm two-by-two square layout covering 0.3136 m². Cutting allowance and spare blocks are additional quantities based on the room plan.
Include the selected block size, net area, pattern datum, border and doorway details, finish and multi-block color range. Add cutting allowance, spare quantity, the glue-down substrate requirements, packing and destination.
