Paved garden terraces with an outdoor dining set, cream lounge seating and raised planting beside a contemporary house

Landscape Design & Outdoor Material Selection

Plan where outdoor dining, lounge seating and walkways fit around your home. We develop 2D layouts, 3D views and coordinated paving, finish and furniture selections for your outdoor areas, with design-only and design-and-supply options.

Discuss Your Outdoor Design

What Your Landscape Design Package Includes

We arrange the outdoor areas around their uses and connections: dining near the house, seating with room to move around it, and routes between the spaces. The layout, views and material direction let you review those choices together before selecting products or commissioning site work.

Design workWhat you can review
Outdoor LayoutThe position of dining, lounge and planting areas, with furniture footprints and the routes connecting them to the house and garden.
3D ViewsThe agreed outdoor views showing the relationship between surfaces, furniture, planting areas and the adjoining building.
Material DirectionProposed paving, exposed edges and finish combinations, identified by the areas where they are used.
Furniture and Product SelectionsProposed dining and lounge pieces or other agreed products, with references that can be developed into itemized supply inquiries.

Terraces, Courtyards and Garden Living Areas

Outdoor Dining and Lounge Layouts

We position tables, chairs and lounge pieces in relation to the doors and the space around them. The layout considers chair movement, the approach to seating and the route back inside. An outdoor cooking area can also be shown when it forms part of your brief.

Outdoor Dining Tables & Chairs

Garden Connections and Poolside Areas

We connect the occupied terraces with garden routes, planting areas and any existing pool area shown on your plans. The concept considers what you see from the house and where people move between spaces. Existing features to retain remain part of the design brief.

Outdoor Lounge Sets

Outdoor Paving, Furniture and Finish Choices

We develop the surface and furniture selections around each outdoor use. A dining terrace, covered lounge and exposed route can need different products. The material list identifies the intended location so product information and local suitability can be reviewed against that use.

Paving Color, Format and Surface

We compare the paving’s color, piece size and surface appearance with the house and adjoining areas. A preferred visual finish is connected to a candidate product; information for outdoor exposure and walking conditions is reviewed with your local team before the selection is used.

Furniture Footprints and Finishes

The proposed dining and lounge pieces are placed at their overall sizes in the layout. Table and chair positions, sofa depth and access around the grouping inform the selection. Frame, upholstery and tabletop choices are then considered for the intended outdoor location.

Planting Areas and Material Transitions

We use planting areas to define the visual edges of terraces and routes. The concept shows their relationship to paving and seating, including the character of their borders. Plant species, soil preparation and irrigation design stay with the local landscape specialist.

Site Plans, Outdoor Uses and Existing Conditions

The site information establishes what the layout must fit. We use the house openings, measured outdoor areas and features you are retaining to organize the design. Photos and your priorities fill in details that a plan may not show, such as a preferred view or a frequently used route.

Landscape Layout Review and Material Selection

We resolve the outdoor arrangement before developing the agreed views and product direction. Feedback stays connected to the area it changes: moving a dining table affects the seating and route around it; changing paving affects the surface selection for that location.

  1. Review Outdoor Uses and Connections

We review the first layout against your activities, retained features and house access. You can see where dining, lounging and garden routes sit in relation to each other before the views and materials are developed further.

  2. Develop Views and Material References

The agreed views show the paving, furniture and planting areas as one composition. Comments can address a particular seating group, material or view. We update the affected design and identify product choices that still need samples or further information.

  3. Hand Off the Design and Product List

The final design files carry the reviewed layout and material direction to your local team. For a design-and-supply commission, the selected furniture and finishes also move into product inquiries, with quantities, specifications and pricing developed for the actual order.

Local professionals remain responsible for site measurements, grading, drainage, irrigation, structures, pool engineering, code review, permits and construction. The design files communicate the outdoor layout and appearance to those teams.

Landscape Design Fees, Files and Revisions

The design fee depends on the outdoor areas, existing information, requested views and depth of material selection. A furnished terrace with an established footprint involves different work from several connected garden areas. Product purchases and local construction have their own costs.

Outdoor Areas and Design Work
Our proposal identifies the terraces, courtyard, garden connections or poolside areas included, the layouts and views to prepare, and the product-selection work. Additional areas or a new design direction change the work being priced.
PDF Plans, 3D Images and Editable CAD
PDF, rendered images and editable CAD are available for the agreed design commission. Our proposal lists the files and level of detail you will receive. These communicate the design to your project team; they do not replace local engineering or construction documents.
Review Rounds and Design Changes
Our proposal states the included revision rounds. We work from consolidated feedback within the agreed brief. Extra rounds or a change in brief are quoted with their time impact before work begins. Corrections to our own errors do not count against your revision allowance.

GEORGE Landscape Design and Material Coordination

The group’s designers develop 2D plans and 3D renderings for landscape spaces, with materials, furniture and finishes considered alongside the layout. NOVARMIA connects that design work with the outdoor products included in your commission.

Landscape Design Questions

Can you design just a patio or courtyard?

Yes. The commission can focus on a defined outdoor area. We establish its dimensions, connection to the house and intended uses, then specify the layouts, views and material-selection work included in the proposal.

Can we start if I do not have a measured site plan?

You can begin with photos, available building drawings and a description of the areas you want to change. We identify the measurements and site information needed to develop the layout. Your local team supplies the measured dimensions and levels used for detailed placement.

Does the landscape design include plant species and irrigation?

The concept can show planting areas and their visual relationship to the outdoor spaces. Plant species, soil conditions, irrigation and ongoing landscape care require local horticultural and technical input. We do not include those specialist documents in the landscape concept package.

Can my local landscape contractor use the design?

Yes. The agreed PDF plans, images and CAD files can communicate the layout and material direction to your contractor. The contractor and local designers develop the site-specific construction details, levels and drainage, and review the selected products for their installation conditions.

Can I commission the design without buying products?

Yes. NOVARMIA accepts design-only commissions as well as design-and-supply projects. Your proposal identifies the design files and selection work included. If you later request furniture or materials, those items receive a separate quotation.

What happens if I change the layout after the first review?

Changes within the first brief are handled through the revision rounds listed in the proposal. Added outdoor areas, a new design direction or additional rounds can add work. We confirm the extra fee and timing before starting that work.
