WPC Strip Body, Square Profile & Finished Faces

Wood-Plastic Composite Body

The strip is made from wood-plastic composite, or WPC, with a laminated decorative surface. Its 50 × 50 mm profile forms an individual linear element for indoor ceilings, screens and block decoration. Each strip is scheduled individually, giving the layout control over the gaps between neighboring pieces.

A 50 × 50 mm Hollow Profile

The listed profile width and height are both 50 mm. The open ends show a hollow center inside the square outer form. Supplied length, wall thickness and any internal fitting dimensions are separate order details; they are not determined by the overall width and height.

Open Ends & Closing Details

The long faces carry the decorative finish, while cut ends expose the hollow profile. Ends that stay exposed need an agreed finish or closing detail. We confirm end components, connections and any internal reinforcement with the support arrangement and supplied lengths.

Wood-Grain Tones

The wood-look faces range from pale grain to golden and deeper brown tones in the profile samples. Grain runs along each strip, emphasizing the direction of the ceiling or screen. The order identifies one selected surface sample by its agreed color, grain and sheen.

Laminated Surface & Face Orientation

The product uses a laminated surface, with hot and cold pressing listed in its processing description. The finish schedule identifies which faces remain exposed in the chosen layout. Side faces are especially prominent where strips are spaced apart or viewed from below.

End Finish & Edge Transitions

Exposed ends, returns and junctions with walls create different viewing angles from the long faces. Their closing or finishing detail is listed alongside the strips. Matching appearance, joint position and the transition to adjacent trim are resolved together.

Ceiling Runs, Screen Spacing & Support Layout

Strip Direction & Clear Gaps

Ceiling and screen layouts define the direction of the strips, their spacing and the clear gaps between them. The 50 mm profile width is one part of that set-out; the gap is a separate project dimension. Perimeter offsets and interrupted runs are shown on the same layout.

Supports & Ceiling Build-Down

The support arrangement determines fixing positions and the total depth below the supporting ceiling. The strip itself is 50 mm high; brackets, carriers or other selected supports add their own depth. Support spacing and attachments are specified for the actual strip lengths and supporting structure.

Lighting, Services & Access

Lighting, ventilation outlets and service access points are coordinated with the strip direction and gaps. Fixtures have their own appropriate support, separate from the decorative strips. The layout identifies interrupted pieces and the space needed to remove or service adjacent equipment.

WPC Strip Lengths, Fixings & Delivery

Supplied Lengths & Piece Counts

Our quotation identifies the 50 × 50 mm profile, selected finish, supplied lengths and number of pieces. Cutting requirements are grouped by ceiling run or screen location. Offcuts and spare pieces are recorded as their own lines, so nothing is buried in a fixed allowance.

Support & Fixing Components

Carriers, brackets, connectors and fixings are listed for the selected installation arrangement. Their type and quantity follow the actual support layout. Decorative strips and support components remain distinct line items so the supply package is clear.

Exposed Ends & Perimeter Details

The order identifies exposed cut ends, closing pieces and perimeter transitions. Any required end components or matching trim are counted as their own items, and factory preparation and site cutting are distinguished on the quote.

Packing, Freight & Installation

Packing protects the laminated faces and profile ends during handling. Package dimensions follow the confirmed supplied lengths and quantities. Freight, unloading, ceiling preparation and installation labor are each stated for the destination. Tell us the rooms and quantities and we will put this on one quote with everything else you are ordering, and show you what fits in a container.

WPC Ceiling & Screen Strip FAQs

Is this strip solid timber or WPC?

It is a hollow wood-plastic composite profile with a laminated decorative surface. Wood look describes the finish only, with no solid-timber species involved. The order records the selected surface sample and the composite body as two entries.

Which dimensions are specified for the strip?

The profile is listed as 50 mm wide and 50 mm high. We confirm supplied length with the order. Cut lengths, end treatment and any internal fixing or reinforcement dimensions are recorded alongside those overall profile measurements.

How are strips arranged across a ceiling or screen?

Individual strips are laid out at the spacing selected for the project. The plan or elevation sets the clear gaps, direction, perimeter offsets and interrupted runs. Piece counts use that layout and the confirmed supplied lengths.

Does the 50 mm height include the ceiling support system?

No. It describes the decorative profile itself. Brackets, carriers or other chosen supports contribute additional depth. The complete ceiling build-down and fixing positions are established in the installation detail.

Can lights or ventilation equipment be fixed to the strips?

No. Lighting and service equipment require an appropriate support arrangement of their own. Their locations are coordinated with the strip spacing and access needs.

What information is needed for a WPC strip quotation?

The order needs the 50 × 50 mm profile, selected finish, supplied lengths and piece quantities. A ceiling plan or screen elevation defines gaps, cut lengths and exposed ends. Supports, fixings, perimeter components, packing, freight and installation are itemized as requested.
