Office Interior Design

Plan your office around the people, work patterns and spaces it needs to support. We develop workplace layouts, furniture arrangements and interior finishes, with agreed design views and files for your project team or a later product purchase.

Office Layouts, Design Views & Finish Selections

We develop the office design from your floor plan and workplace brief. The design connects staff work areas, meeting and visitor spaces with furniture positions, storage and interior finishes. Our proposal identifies the areas, views and file formats included in the commission.

Design outputInformation developed
Workplace LayoutProposed zones, room uses, workstation and furniture positions, staff and visitor routes, and the relationship to existing walls and openings.
Design ViewsAgreed 2D plans, selected interior elevations and 3D views showing the included office areas and the design decisions being reviewed.
Finish & FurnitureProposed furniture types, millwork and storage, floor and wall finishes, colors and sample or product references for the accepted direction.
Files & HandoffThe agreed PDF drawings, rendered images and editable CAD files, with the design issue and any remaining product or local technical decisions identified.

Office Space Planning for Staff, Meetings & Visitors

Workstations, Private Offices & Shared Desks

We develop the furniture layout around the expected number of people on site, assigned or shared desks, team relationships and work equipment. Focused work, confidential calls and collaborative tasks inform the arrangement of work areas and enclosed rooms. Existing furniture can be included using its actual dimensions and condition information.

Office Furniture & Millwork Procurement

Reception, Meeting Rooms & Staff Amenities

Visitor arrival, waiting, meetings and staff breaks are planned alongside the work areas. We coordinate reception furniture, meeting-table layouts, shared storage and pantry or lounge furniture with the brief. Proposed room uses and furniture positions identify the questions that need review by your local building and technical teams.

Cabinet & Furniture Shop Drawings

Office Furniture, Millwork & Interior Finishes

Furniture and finish choices follow the workplace layout and the way each area will be used. We develop the finish palette and product direction together so reception, workstations, meeting rooms and shared areas can be reviewed as one office design.

Furniture Footprints & Workplace Storage

Desks, tables, seating, pedestals and storage are placed using the available product dimensions or the proposed design sizes. The layout considers furniture movement, equipment positions and access to storage. A later purchase confirms the exact models, options and quantities against the accepted design.

Floor, Wall & Partition Finishes

We coordinate floor and wall materials, partition appearance, colors and sample references with the office palette and use requirements. Areas needing privacy or sound control are identified in the brief. Product performance and any acoustic assembly requirements need the relevant manufacturer information and local specialist review.

Reception Details & Furniture References

Reception counters, feature surfaces, storage fronts and meeting-room furniture carry the selected proportions and finish direction. Design views and references identify what is being compared. Physical samples and exact supplier selections can be coordinated before those items move into a separate product quotation.

Office Plans, Headcount & Equipment Requirements

We use the existing space and workplace requirements to develop the office arrangement. The design review identifies the site information, equipment needs and local technical questions that affect furniture positions, room uses and finish choices.

Workplace Areas in the Design Brief

  • Staff Work Areas

Assigned or shared desks, private offices, equipment and storage arranged around the expected on-site staff and team requirements.

  • Meetings & Private Rooms

Meeting, collaboration and private-call spaces identified by use, expected group size and the furniture or equipment to accommodate.

  • Reception & Shared Amenities

Visitor arrival and waiting, staff pantry or lounge areas, shared storage and their relationship to the main work areas.

Office Design Review & Project Handoff

The design review moves from the workplace brief to a coordinated layout and interior direction. We identify the decisions in each issue so your team can comment on the office arrangement, furniture and finishes before the agreed files are handed over.

  1. Confirm the Workplace Brief & Design Areas

We review the staff and visitor requirements, existing plan, retained items and budget. The brief identifies the work areas, rooms and shared facilities to design, the views needed for review and the local contacts who will resolve building or technical questions.

  2. Review Layouts, Furniture & Finish Choices

The proposed layout and design views show how the included office areas work together. Consolidated feedback is attached to the affected room, furniture item or finish. Revisions carry the accepted changes across the related views, with any new work identified before it starts.

  3. Issue the Accepted Design & Next Decisions

The handoff identifies the design issue, agreed files, furniture and finish references and any open product or local technical decisions. For a later NOVARMIA purchase, the supply team develops an itemized quotation from the accepted direction; products and commercial terms still need separate buyer approval.

You can commission office design on its own or combine it with product procurement. Your qualified local team remains responsible for verified site measurements, building-code and accessibility review, fire and egress design, mechanical and electrical engineering, permits and installation.

Office Design Files & Revisions

The design fee reflects the office areas, number of distinct room types, work already completed and the views or detail required. Developing a workplace layout from an empty floor plan is different from refreshing finishes around retained furniture and rooms.

Design Areas & File Deliverables
Our proposal names the spaces and design work included. PDF drawings, rendered images and editable CAD files are available, with the included plans, views and formats stated for the commission. Fabrication details for custom millwork are identified as separate drawing work where needed.
Review Rounds & Changes to the Brief
Our proposal states the included revision rounds. Feedback within the first brief is grouped for each review. Extra rounds, added rooms or a new design direction are quoted on their own, including any timing effect, before work begins. Correcting errors in our work does not use your revision allowance.
Samples, Product Quotes & Local Work
Requested samples, product procurement and additional specialist work are included or charged as stated. A later supply quote identifies exact products, quantities, packing and delivery terms. Local surveys, engineering, permits, construction and installation are separate from the interior design fee.

Office Interior Design Questions

Can I commission office design without buying the furniture?

Yes. Design-only and design-plus-procurement commissions are available. Our proposal identifies the office areas, design work and files included. Purchasing, supplier fabrication details and local construction follow their own agreed terms.

Can you plan around shared desks, hybrid work or future staff growth?

Yes. The brief can include expected daily attendance, assigned and shared desks, team groups and a stated future headcount. We compare the furniture and room arrangements against that brief. The local project team confirms occupancy, access and other building requirements for the accepted layout.

Can we keep existing furniture and work on only part of the office?

Yes. Identify the areas and furniture to retain, with plans, dimensions and current photos. The design can focus on the agreed rooms or phase, showing the relationships to the retained space and any questions that need local site confirmation.

What drawings and design files will we receive?

PDF drawings, rendered images and editable CAD files are available. Your proposal lists the plans, elevations, views and file formats included. Interior design files are handed over with their issue references; detailed supplier fabrication or engineering documents are separate work.

Do you provide engineering, permits or certified acoustic performance?

No. This service develops the office interior layout, furniture arrangement and finish direction. Qualified local professionals handle building compliance, engineering, permits and any required acoustic design or performance verification. We coordinate the relevant design questions and product information with those parties.

How are design revisions and extra work handled?

The proposal sets the included review rounds. Consolidated feedback within the first brief uses those rounds; extra rounds, added areas or a different design direction are quoted for approval before work begins. Corrections to our own errors do not reduce your revision allowance.
