Who is responsible for your information
This website and the NOVARMIA brand are operated by Foshan Jingcheng Zhizao Building Materials Co., Ltd. (佛山市敬城智造建材有限公司), a GEORGE Group (敬城) company. It is responsible for the personal information you send us through this website or by email. Our offices are at Building 1, No. 46 Jihua 3rd Road, Chancheng District, Foshan, Guangdong, China, and our company details are on the Company Information page. What we collect
- Inquiry form. Your name, email address and project details, the product and options you were looking at, and any drawings, images, spreadsheets or documents you attach (up to five files, 40 MB in total). Each request is saved with a reference number and the date it was received.
- Email. Whatever you choose to send us when you write to us directly.
- Abuse protection. To stop automated spam, the form keeps a one-way hash of your IP address for ten minutes. We cannot turn that hash back into your IP address.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to keep the site secure and running.
We do not ask for payment details on this website. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not sell or rent your information.
How we use it
We use your inquiry to understand your project, prepare drawings and quotations, answer your questions and, if you place an order, manage production, inspection, shipping and after-sales support. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract and, once you order, performance of that contract. We may also use your details to follow up on a quotation you asked for; we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
Who can see it
Inquiry records and attached files are visible only to authorised website administrators and the NOVARMIA project team handling your request. Attached files are stored outside the public part of the website and cannot be reached through a web address. We share information only with the companies that help us deliver your project, such as our hosting provider, our email provider, the factory producing your goods and the freight and inspection companies involved in your shipment, and only as far as each of them needs it. If another GEORGE Group company is named as the seller on your contract, it receives the details it needs to supply your order. We will disclose information if the law requires us to.
International transfers
Our team works in China and our website is hosted by an international hosting provider, so your information may be processed outside your own country. Where data protection law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as we need them to answer you and, if a project goes ahead, for as long as the order, its warranty and our legal record-keeping obligations require. You can ask us to delete an inquiry at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy of it. Email sales@novarmia.com from the address you used, with your inquiry reference if you have one, and we will reply within one month. If you are in the EU or UK and are not satisfied with our answer, you can also contact your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
